South Asian Studies at UCLA

I recognize the academic importance of studying regions of the world through
the development of multidisciplinary studies programs. I feel that South Asia is such a region which should hold an academic place at institutes of higher education. I support the development of a South Asian studies program at the University of California, Los Angeles.
