There is one skate park all the way across town, and it is horrible and small! It's all metal so it burns on hot days, and the worst part is, you slide off everything!
THIS IS UNFAIR. Then the Councils wonder why youth hang around the streets with nothing to do. Teenagers need exercise and facilities too.
Skateboarding is a popular sport - if kids have no skateparks, they will still skate - on the streets in churches, schools. People tell them off, but they have no alternative!
PLEASE - we would like a new skatepark for teenagers in DEL RIO!
We, the undersigned, call on the Del Rio council to make an improved skatepark anywhere in Del Rio Texas.
