Another good Mafia Wars player, Simone Sabatino, account FBID: 1669133287, a community leader has fallen victim to discriminatory reporting and practices.

We call upon you and ask that you stop this discriminatory practice of disabling facebook accounts due to erroneous reporting of members playing Zynga's game of Mafia Wars. Simone Sabatino,
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1669133287
has fallen victim to this and we request that you reinstate her account immediately.

Furthermore disabling accounts of Mafia Wars players without any evidence to support a TOS violation and not allowing one an opportunity to represent and/or defend themselves by possibly explaining an event, is nothing more than a violation of ones presumption of innocence widely held under the 5th, 6th, and 14th amendments and The Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of the Council of Europe which states "Everyone shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty".

With Facebook and Zynga partnering to bring us the game of Mafia Wars they need to use the same guiding principles to their users. Zynga has previously stated that their company would not practice the act of banning players for multiple reports during gaming wars, and that they were aware of this type of tactic used by opponents. If Facebook totally understood this tactic used in gaming wars, Simone's account would still be active.

Furthermore, Facebook's practice of banning accounts of some Mafia Wars players is proven evidence of a discriminatory practice by allowing subjective behaviors of game play to rule against players in decisions to ban their accounts by not taking into account what country a player is from, if that player is communicating in their first language, if that player is handicapped and clicks too slow or too fast, if a player gets more gifts than another, or even if a computer glitch appeared to be abnormal play.

Zynga.org advertises themselves as a company created with a with a vision of connecting the world through games and dedicating themselves to making fun and social games for people to play, with a platform for it's creation is to allow players to express themselves and form deep social connections with their friends. Facebook states under Special Provisions Applicable to Users Outside the United States that they strive to create a global community with consistent standards for everyone, with a platform that they are giving people the power to share and make the world more open and connected. So they must understand that Facebook is a multi-ethnic society. Clearly the intention of Facebook and Zynga is not to penalize those not from the United States for communication issues. Most certainly the current practices such as this one, with the banning of accounts such asSimone Sabatino goes against both company platforms.

Zynga is the largest developer of social games on the web, and much of that is attributed to the game of Mafia Wars. Facebook has become the worlds largest social network and much of that is attributed to Zynga games, not by discriminating against it's Mafia Wars players.

If those who chose to ban Simone's account had done some further research here are a few things they might have discovered for themselves:

Scottie Lyn this one is personal... Simmie is a long-time friend.... sending and posting a message on my wall."

Facebook reaches more than 175 million people and per the statements made by Mark Zuckerberg, "we need to make sure the terms reflect the principles and values of the people using the service." "Our next version will be a substantial revision from where we are now. It will reflect the principles I described yesterday around how people share and control their information, and it will be written clearly in language everyone can understand."

Clearly we know that it is not yet written in such a language that we all understand yet. For this and all the things previously mentioned we the people ask that you do the right thing and reinstate the account of Simone Sabatino.

We, the undersigned, call on Facebook to take action and reinstate Simone Sabatino's, account # FBID: 1669133287.

We believe this is the only appropriate action that Facebook should take at this time to prove that they are not supporting unjust discriminatory practices in the disabling of accounts.
