Fish Here! Pet Center! has been open in the Rushmore Mall for several decades and the conditions of the animals are deplorable. The dogs are kept in small cement, plywood and Plexiglas containers, usually 1-3 puppies per container. The floor is lined with towels for them to poop and pee on, and are rarely taken care of right away.
The fish tanks are always smokey, filmy and dirty. The lizards are crammed together, at least 15-20 per tank. The birds, too, are over-crowded. These conditions have existed for at least 20 years, since I was a small child.

We, the undersigned, call upon the City Council to have Fish Here! Pet Center! shut down and to send the pets within to better shops and shelters where they will have a greater chance of being healthy and happy.
