As residents in Shakespeare we were informed a few months ago that the water lines were being fixed and we would have to pay to have it connected.
We were never asked or allowed to give our thoughts on the matter, we were just told that we would have to hand over the money to have it done This is costing homeowners upwards of a thousand dollars, and we have until September 30th to have this completed. Not everyone in the community has thousands of dollars lying around to spend on something the township should be looking after.
We, the undersigned, propose the township of Perth East reimburse homeowners for the cost of connecting the water lines.
