At last, the people of the UK appear to have woken up to the tyranny that is politics. They can now see that the way we are governed owes nothing to democracy, and is all about creating the illusion of democracy.
Our individual MP's vote the way they are told to vote,with no reference at all to the electorate. The gap between public opinion and parliamentary decisions is huge. It is, therefore, quite obvious that they do not represent the will of the people.
Each parliamentary constituency should be able to send one of their own to truly represent their wishes in parliament. That representative must vote the way his/her constituents want him/her to vote, or they are out of office.
We, the undersigned, call on the Electoral Commission to heed our wishes, and remove the barriers designed to prevent full and democratic representation of the majority. We urge the commission to uphold all democratic principles, including the fundamental right of the electorate to change the rules.
We further demand that the electorate be empowered in order to rid themselves of corrupt, dishonest and unrepresentative MP's, without having to wait for an election, or for that MP's party to instigate proceedings.
