Going to school to learn should be a happy experience. Instead there's bullying, harrassment and threats of violence.
Children especially with learning disabilities are often the target and the victims are not supported yet instead suspended or expelled for their reactions. Bullies work in a " gang" so when confronted by a teacher about reports the victim is out numbered by liars.
Victims then snap and are removed from the schooling system. Bullies need counselling. Instead beautiful well adjusted young children who want to learn are now either making excuses not to go to school, suffering anxiety and worry. This is not on.
Bullying incidents need to be registered and the bully needs to attend counselling before re entering the school premises.
We parents want our children to be supported in regards to repeat bullying offences. Bullies need to be registered for Councelling before re - entering the School System.
If bullying continues we parents want the child expelled immediately. Bullying eats at an individual's confidence and self esteem. When a child is subjected to that daily in an environment that should be safe is something that can not be ignored. It is a child's right to be educated in a safe manner.
It's not tolerate in the work force and it should be consistent with the schools. Special needs children who are also victims of abuse within the school grounds need to be supported aswell not suspended for reactions. Bullies have problems, address the initial issue and stop the infection spreading to other individuals who want to learn, who have respect and let's not forget, have rights!
