The implementation of the three-strike law has caused a lot of controversy and has negatively affected the lives of many. Because of this law people convicted of non-violent and often petty crimes such as stealing food, not paying a bill, or even not paying a bus fare are doing life in prison.

Say no to the "Three-Strike" law for non-violent offenders. Consider that the huge sums of money going into the incarceration industry to house thousands of inmates can instead be applied to programs to educate and reform.
