Triangle Dog Park has been located at the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and Fletcher Streets in Fishtown, Philadelphia for the last 10 years.
Triangle has an Online Community Members group which currently has 270 active members and at least 280 dogs that use and rely on this park for their socializing, exercise and play.
The park is well maintained by park volunteers as well as completely fenced and secured for the dogs to run off leash safely.
Triangle Dog Park has several trees and bushes some of which were planted more than 10 years ago by original dog park members.
Triangle Dog operates on a 100% member supported basis thus requiring no tax dollars to maintain.
Currently, there is only one other enclosed dog park near this area and while it is an excellent park it is usually overcrowded and Insteaf of grass or mulch it is a mostly cobblestone park.
The members , friends and dogs that use, enjoy and love the current location of Triangle Dog Park kindly make this plea to the PENN DOT 95 REVIVE Administrators ; please find and use a different area for the storage of construction staging thus keeping this much loved dog park alive.
We, the undersigned Members and Friends of Triangle Dog Park respectfully plea to and call on PENN DOT - 95 REVIVE Administrators on behalf of our K-9 friends who cannot speak for themselves to refrain from the destruction of Triangle Dog Park located at the intersection of Aramingo Avenue and Fletcher Streets in Fishtown, Philadelphia and instead to find a location other than this location for the storage of their construction staging.
