For 12 years I have both worked here and provided a service for road users requiring hot and cold food, or simply a break from driving with a cup of tea and a chat. I consider myself a highly valued business in the community, serving a variety of people, from the local army camp personnel, to lorry drivers on their taco' breaks.
However, Wiltshire council now requires us 'street' traders to apply for a license, part of this application states that we must get planning permission, of which I have been refused, so I am asking you to sign my petition in order to strengthen my appeal to the Secretary of State. Thank you.
We, the undersigned, call on the Secretary of State to allow the burger van at Tilshead lay-by to be granted planning permission, so Wiltshire council can grant it a license and its business can be continued at this site.
