This petition is to save The Wachovia Spectrum in Philadelphia Pa. On Jan 18th Comcast Inc announced plans to build a shopping complex, a hotel and possibly apartments where The Spectrum currently sits.
The Spectrum has stood for over 40 years and have been host to Flyers 76ers Pahantoms hockey as well as thousands of concerts and over entertainment events over the years. No other arena in Philadelphia history, has had more championships won it in. It is up to the fans to save The Beloved Spectrum. The Spectrum is still a viable and usable commodity.
By Signing this petition you hereby state you support and want The Spectrum to stand and not be destroyed. The Spectrum is a historical landmark. Our voices will be heard. the plan of this petition is to get enough signatures and present Comcast with it to show them the outpouring of respect and love we have for this building.
