Cafe under lease for 20 years being cancelled for property development.
The Lunch Box is a family run cafe in Trowbridge Town centre which has done business for 20 years serving the community. The lease shall not be renewed as surrounding areas are being developed into homes and the landlord now requires to increase his value with following this.
The knock on effect of this is not only leaving residents of the community of all ages without an old fashioned style cafe with unique features and family background, but also the loss of jobs to many employees.
This will effect these people's livelihoods in a very big way.
