Save the Historical Homes of Rockton

The below-signed petitioners, hereby, affirm that it is their belief, as residents, former residents or neighboring residents of the village of Rockton, IL that the deep and long history of the community dictates certain guidelines should apply to the purchase of historical homes or property; among them a requirement of the buyer to contractually agree that their intent, upon purchase, is to make every effort to restore any viable, existing structure on the property to its original state for the purpose of making it a primary personal residence, business or residence to sell for utilization as a personal residence or business.
