The Empire Theatre was built in 1922 and once hosted vaudeville shows and in its latter years functioned as a movie theatre.
However, the property is now in a state of total disrepair. There's an urgent need to save this building.
We, the undersigned, call on the Ministry of Culture (Government of Barbados) to take immediate action to implement the project to restore the Empire Theatre of Barbados.
