This petition is to present to City Council the citizens who support the concept of maintaining and improving the Dufferin Centre building located at the corner of Spring Street and Dufferin Avenue.
This building holds significant architectural, historical and cultural benefits to the community that deserve to be preserved and honoured.
I petition the Mayor Bob Campney and the City Council to maintain the Dufferin Centre, located at the intersection of Spring Street and Dufferin Avenue, for the benefit and use of the community. I would like council to allow outside organizations to explore opportunities to keep this funcitoning for the community benefit and stop any discussions of demolishing or sale of the property to private interests.
