Background (Preamble):
Hertsmere Borough Council wishes to close our Community Centre on 17/10/11. The building will be reopened Jan 2012 and managed by a leisure company.
They cannot guarantee the facilities currently provided by the current tenant will remain. Resulting in the closure of the Arundel Social Club and the current classes & groups which use the premises

We the undersigned, call upon Hertsmere Borough Council to refrain from including the Threeways Community Centre within its leisure centre tender agreement.
We would like our community centre to remain the pivotal part of Borehamwood with its current facilities without the need of privatisation of the centre.
