Background (Preamble):
We the users of the Via Rail commuter service in the Windsor-Toronto corridor were recently informed of the possible change in schedule of train 75 to a later time.
This change would be very inconvenient for those who wish to return to their families in the evening at a reasonable time.

Petition:
Via Rail is the only viable option for most commuters living west of Hamilton. To move train 75 to a later time slot would leave only train 83 currently leaving at 5:12pm for those wanting to return home.
For many in Brantford, Woodstock, London and west, this means arriving home (after travel to the station) at 7:00 pm or later. This leaves little time for meals or family.
We request that Via Rail NOT consider having only a 5:12pm or later evening departure from Toronto. We request that a train be scheduled in the 4:20-4:45pm departure timeslot.
