Thanks to everyone who signed and supported this petition to save our school. We have been informed that our school will NOT be divided and that our children will remain safe. I appreciate everyone who attended the photo shoot for the paper and all those who have commented on facebook. These efforts were the reason the decision was overturned by the education department.
The Department of Education has bought the old “Hope Christian School” to be used as a holding school in conjunction with Narellan Public School.
This will mean that a class of NPS students will be either expected to cross a major busy road up to four times a day OR be segregated from the rest of the school with no access to amenities such as canteen.
We, the parents and community, do not wish to subject NPS children to unnecessary safety risks or have them segregated from their peers.
Keep our children safe and happy.
