On June 1, 2016, we became aware of our dental assisting teacher Ms. Evangeline Enriquez has lost her position as an instructor and is now a substitute.
Our teacher was distraught and very emotional about the decision made by the school.
We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to our teacher who has been an inspiration to us and we support her regarding this issue by petitioning against this action.
We, the undersigned, call on the Directors and Principals of Downey Adult School and Downey School District to revisit the decision making process of demoting Ms. Evangeline Enriquez and take into consideration our voice and give Ms. E her job back.
