HSBC has announced its Aldeburgh branch is to close. This is an important facility for residents who cannot conveniently travel to Saxmundham, for local businesses who like the effectiveness and convenience of local bank support as well as the many tourists who visit Aldeburgh every year.
This closure has been announced without consultation and we want HSBC to reconsider its decisions.
We, the undersigned, are highly concerned by the proposed closure of the HSBC branch in Aldeburgh and call on HSBC to consult with the Aldeburgh community, surrounding communities and relevant local bodies regarding this action.
