Save Franklins Green Belt
We the undersigned, oppose residential/industrial development in the Pukekohe South East locality (being generally described as Station Road, Yates Road, Logan Road, and Goldings Road). This is to protect Pukekohe Park, The Trotting Club, The Saleyards and A & P Showgrounds.
We are supportive of the Motorsport, Equine, Farming, and Local Sporting activities that occur in this environment, and we need to protect and preserve these facilities that define our community.
We therefore support the submissions made to the Auckland Council by the Counties Racing Club, and strongly oppose those submissions by a very small minority of landowners seeking residential development in this area.
