SAFER STREETS FOR HILL HEALTH CENTER – COLUMBUS AVE. OFFICE

As a supporter of this petition, I am hereby requesting that the City of New Haven get involved in assisting to resolve the continual problem of speeding traffic that we are experiencing, hoping to gain the respect for the crosswalk that is in front of the Hill Health Center on Columbus Ave an it's surrounding territories.

Method of Action: Stop lights during business hours and safety signals for non -business hours. Also post signs to let drivers be aware of handicap pedestrians,elderly and small children are in the area. Slow traffic speed limits signs should be posted and apparent to all individuals driving on the streets. Fines should be given for excessive speeds around the clinic zones.
