From the beginning of Winter Qtr 2007, both the District Student Government and MV Campus Student Government has been attacked by faculty, staff, and certain student/staff from the WIC.
We have brought our complaints forward to the Student Life office and to the Deans and Vice Presidents until finally the ASSVC District President met with the President of Skagit Valley College.
Not only did nothing change, the WIC faculty, staff, and the same student/staff have acted with a sense of empowerment on their continued assault of the MV Campus Student Student Leaders.
We, the undersigned, call on the President of Skagit Valley College to remove the poor working conditions that have been created by the staff and faculty of SVC-WIC campus by removing those that have created this unhealthy work environment and ensure measures prohibiting interference from any Skagit Valley College faculty, staff, or student/staff with the affairs of ASSVC Student Government.
