In light of our country's obesity epidemic and Michelle Obama's initiative to limit unhealthy fats, sodium and added sugars in foods advertised to children under 18 via the web and television (to voice your views on this write to FTC Project No. P094513, FTC, Office of the Secretary, Room H-113 (Annex W), 600 Pennsyvlania Avenue N.W., Washington, DC 20580) this seems the most opportune time to revamp the East Williston UFSD's cafeteria menus with some healthy changes.
We would like to use the Chappaqua UFSD menus as a model for these changes.
Please change East Williston UFSD cafeteria menus to include only organic and/or all natural foods, snacks and drinks with no high fructose corn syrup, trans fats or other unhealthy additives/preservatives.
