We lost our Library when they re-developed our shopping centre. The council promised it would be returned and now they have reneged on the promise.
The Mayor has publicity announced that we will not have our library back. It was to expensive. He has only thought about the Financial cost and not the Social capital that a library gives to our community.
We want the council to apply for Funding specifically for a South Penrith Library service from the NSW state government Library development grant and the NSW Library council grants committee.
