If a person is wrongly accused of a crime by the D.A. The person should be reimbursed the bail money, if they bailed out. The D. A. should have to reimburse the wrongly accused or bails man.
My husband was wrongly arrested for a crime he did not do. He was stereo typed, by the D.A. I bailed him out because it was one week before Christmas and his court date wasn't until the 28th. Why should he have to be there on Christmas when he is innocent and the jerk that did the crime be out. His bond was 75,0000. I put down 2000. We still owe 7000. It is totally unfair that people are left owing like this for being wrongly charged.
We the Undersigned call for the government make it a law to return the bail money to a person wrongly accused of a crime, or is proven innocent. It is unfair to make someone pay for it when he/she did nothing.
