"A Well-Regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms Shall Not Be Infringed." Second Amendment, united states Constitution.
It is the God-given Right of all Free Men, to defend themselves, their families, loved ones, friends, and their Sovereign Republic from criminals, terrorists, tyrants, and ALL enemies both Foreign, and Domestic.
To that end, Our Founding Fathers enacted the Second Amendment, that government should make NO ATTEMPTS to regulate that Right into a privilege by means of any type of license or permit requirements.
We the undersigned do hereby call upon the Legislature of the State of Texas, as well as Governor Rick Perry, to enact and support legislation establishing true Constitutional Firearms Carry in our Sovereign State of Texas.
It is our contention that the current concealed carry permit system, along with its attendant fees, constitutes not only a financial hardship upon certain sectors of our population, but also an Infringement upon our God-given, Inalienable Right to defend ourselves, as well as our Constitutional Right under the Second Amendment.
We the undersigned do hereby Petition that the Texas Legislature immediately enact true Constitutional Firearms Carry.
That all legal inhabitants and residents of Texas, being twenty-one years of age or older, and having NO Felony or Firearms related Criminal Convictions, be allowed to lawfully carry upon their persons, or in their vehicles, concealed or openly, a firearm of their choosing for their personal defense and protection.
We hereby petition that this be enacted with NO requirement of fees, permits or licenses, which by their very imposition, reduce our God-given, Inalienable Right, to a privilege which the State can then rescind at their whim.
We the undersigned are fully cognizant that common sense dictates that people should seek to secure adequate training, and be proficient in the safe use, and employment of arms.
However, we believe that the onus of securing such training is contingent upon the individual, and that government has NO right, or Constitutional authority to require training, or use the same as reason to Impede, or Infringe upon the Right of any Sovereign individual, to exercise his or her Inalienable Right to own, or carry upon their person, openly or concealed, a firearm of their choice, for self protection and defense.
We hereby petition the Texas House, Senate, and Governor Perry to enact the necessary legislation, and establish Constitutional Firearms Carry in our Sovereign State of Texas, to the benefit of We the People of the Sovereign State of Texas.
