Bus Company New Age Travel (NAT) decided not to provide a service to Fonmon Cross and Fonmon Road leading to people being deprived of convenient public transport.
This particularly impacts those who find it hard, or impossible, to walk to and from Fontygary bus stop for work, doctors and hospital appointments or weekly shopping.
Bus Company Cardiff Bus withdrew its x91 service from East Aberthaw, Rhoose and Porthkerry leaving this communities without a direct service to Cardiff. This has disadvantaged people who relied on it for work and other needs to access Cardiff.
We the undersigned call on the Vale of Glamorgan County Borough Council to take urgent action to restore the NAT 303/304 bus services to Fonmon and Fonmon Road, Rhoose.
We also call for the urgent restoration of the x91 Cardiff Bus service to Rhoose.
