There is a Special Tax for Facilities levied each yearly to the residents of the Four Seasons Retirement Community that contains a two percent (2%) increase escalator added that creates a hardship for many residents on a fixed income.
The purpose of the petition is to demand the repeal and removal of this escalator from the yearly tax requirement.
We, the undersigned residents of the Four Seasons Community of Beaumont, demand that the two percent (2%) Special Tax for Facilities escalator be repealed and removed from this tax obligation.
This yearly 2% tax increase escalator causes and will cause a financial hardship for those on a fixed income and needs to be removed immediately.
