Canada and the US have laws that prevent people from importing cars until they are a certain age.
Most of Canada has a requirement for the vehicle to be over 15 years old.
What is the point of this law?
We would like to have laws in Canada and the United States changed so that there are no age requirements for importing vehicles.
We would all much rather see no age restriction but instead a better safety inspection for these vehicles.
As long as they are road safe there is no point in keeping them off the roads.
