The medians along 36th Ave. W. in Lynnwood are dangerous and considered by many to likely cause unnecessary accidents.
The medians and shrubbery make it very difficult to see other vehicles when entering and exiting the communities along this road. Therefore, we are asking that the City of Lynnwood PLEASE either remove the medians all together, or at minimum take the shrubs and plants out to allow drivers to better see others.
On August 22nd, 2015 a woman in her 40's was killed as another car struck her. It is undetermined if the medians played a part in the accident, however it is possible that it could have contributed to the cause of the accident.
We, the undersigned, call on the City of Lynnwood to eliminate the medians along 36th Ave. W. in Lynnwood, WA, or at minimum to remove the shrubs and plants from said medians immediately.
