A new billboard sign has popped up on Pinemont Dr. near the Bingle intersection that is sexually explicit and is not compliant with City of Houston Informational Letter #0001-2003 Clarification of Sexually Oriented Business, specifically that the sign "Can not contain photographs, silhouettes, drawings or pictorial representations of any type whatsoever."
This sign obviously violates that guideline and the location is next to a public park ground "Rosslyn Park" and close to a public library, a school and residential neighborhoods.
I am forming this petition as a resident living in this community area seeking my family and others to have a censor free drive down the busy street of Pinemont Dr. near our neighborhoods and schools.
We, the undersigned, call upon the City of Houston or necessary authorities to remove the Sexually Explicit Billboard on Pinemont Dr. near the Bingle and Pinemont intersection and next to Rosslyn Park.
