The current IBEW general chairman has not provided effective representation for the Signal Department and the ongoing issues and concerns within.
We have discussed these concerns inside meetings and separately through e-mail with no movement forward. His continuous refusal to field or return phone calls and e-mail correspondence does not align with the duties of a general chairman and is in direct violation of Article 16, Sec 14 of the Constitution and by-laws.
This petition is being drafted to either urge the current chairman to vacate the chair or force this result by means of presidential authoritative action.
This is a petition to force the removal of our current general chairman. The current chairman has provided grossly deficient representation of the Signal Department and continues to fail in making progress on departmental issues.
