In the past 2 years we have had as many as 8 power outages, one as long as 3 days.
BC Hydro's fix to this problem is to strengthen the overhead cables.
There will always be wind and snow storms. Trees will continue to fall and overhead lines will continue to break.
The only solution is to bury the cable system.
Crescent Road in South Surrey is one of the most scenic drives in Metro Vancouver but it is marred by the tangled web of overhead power lines.
Residents are losing their Ocean, Mountain and Sunset Views and property values will be dropping accordingly.
Request BC Hydro to bury all of the overhead cables down Crescent Road into Crescent Beach, as well as all overhead wires.
Stop the installation of Hendrix Cables.
Save our Ocean, Mountain and Sunset Views. Protect our property values.
