My brother Jason Murray was found guilty on two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery at Worcester Crown Court. Jason was given an IPP which in basic terms means he has not been given a release date, in fact his papers state 99 years until release. This was Jason's first offence.
Jason has given a lot to his community. He has worked on a number of community based projects with young offenders such as anti gun and gang initiatives.
Jason has three young children who can not be told when their father will come home. Jason is not a danger to the public.
The day my brother was sentenced, justice was not served, but a crime was committed. They are robbing a 30 year old father of the rest of his life!
Jason is appealing against his IPP and the length of his sentence. Please support this petition.
We, the undersigned, call upon the Royal Courts of Justice to remove Jason's IPP and reduce his sentence.
