Release Dr. Biscet from Cuban jail
To: Fidel Castro Ruz
Palacio de la Revolucion
Havana, Cuba
We, the signatories of this petition, call on the Cuban Government to
immediately and unconditional release Dr. Oscar ElĂas Biscet from his unjust
jail sentence on the grounds that he is a prisoner of conscience detained
solely for peacefully attempting to exercise his right to freedom of
expression, association, and assembly.
As international citizens, we are concerned with the physical and mental
well being of Dr. Biscet, as well as fair treatment for all-Cuban political
prisoners, dissidents, oppositionists, and human rights activists.
By signing this petition I am protesting against the unjust detainment of Dr. Oscar ElĂas Biscet, which is in direct violation of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
