Due to the growth of social networking websites on the Internet, such as Facebook and MySpace, the need for stricter regulation of bullying and harassment for users of these websites.
We, the undersigned, call on the Government of Canada to enact policy to ensure the users of social networking websites are protected from any form of bullying and/or harassment which may occur while using these websites.
Violators of this code will be held accountable criminally and/or civilly as per any form of physical and/or verbal harassment in the 'real' world.
