There are currently six separate and competing accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Training programs in the State of Ohio.
Because of the excessive number of Nuclear Medicine Technologists currently working in the vocation, and even greater numbers of programs graduating new students each year, the situation has resulted in an extremely negative job outlook for all Nuclear Medicine Technologists working in the State of Ohio and elsewhere across the USA.
Nuclear Medicine community, please sign this petition to show your support for decreasing the number of students graduating from accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Training programs.
This petition and its collected signatures will be presented at the Nuclear Medicine Institute Advisory Committee Meeting at the University of Findlay on Friday, April 30, 2010.
