Giving places to go after school, or even during the summer can keep many kids off of streets. As well as can help many kids take a break from the troubles of everyday life. Not only this, but having centers can boost employment opportunities and can be used as a way to give back to the community.
Centers can be used to coach small league teams, security guards would be needed too. as well as concession stands. it can even be used to hold events which can also bring forth economic value.
We the undersigned, call on the mayor and city council of Titusville, Florida to help build recreation centers in the hopes that it can help the city grow, and give families a hope for a better future. One free of health issues, economic problems, and absolute boredom from having nothing to do or a place to hang out.
We hope that by building centers we can also encourage kids to stay out of the streets and allow them to have a place to channel bad feelings.
