Real Men Don't Rape vs Kenneth Robert Klassen

We, the undersigned, call on the BC Supreme Court to recognize the severity of the crimes committed by Kenneth Robert Klassen.
He is a threat to both women and children worldwide. It is shameful to even think that his very long list of grotesque violations of girls and young women could go unpunished.
The Convention on the Rights of the Child clearly states that it is a non-negotiable obligation to ensure that the rights of children worldwide are acknowledged, respected, protected and enforced at all times.
'The four core principles of the Convention are non-discrimination; devotion to the best interests of the child; the right to life, survival and development; and respect for the views of the child. Every right spelled out in the Convention is inherent to the human dignity and harmonious development of every child. The Convention protects children's rights by setting standards in health care; education; and legal, civil and social services.'
Canada has agreed to take on these obligations and if the BC Supreme Court does not punish this man..well then why do we have these human rights in place to specifically protect children?
We hope you do the right thing and sentence this man to the full extent of the law, sending a very strong message that sexually assaulting girls and young women, child pornography, and overall exploitation of women and children, will not be tolerated.
We also sincerely hope that this man will receive an abundance of councelling and rehabilitation so that, one can hope, upon release, he will be a healthy human being that will no longer be a threat to anyone within the global community.
