In 1999, WowWee was a very unknown company until they hired a NASA scientist by the name of Mark Tilden. He designed a robot named Robosapien, the most successful personal robot of all time (in terms of sales).
They made many more robots but their best selling line in their Robotics series was the Robosapiens. This included: Robosapien, Robosapien V2, and RS Media (Robosapien Media.) RS Media was the last and most capable of the 3. One of the biggest rumors is that RS Media was supposed to be the Robosapien V3, this is absolutely FALSE. The RS Media was the supposed to be a multimedia and programmable version of the Robosapien V2 (basically a V2.5.)
Unfortunately from late 2010- early 2011, WowWee absolutely cut off the entire Robotics series and started making small children's toys rather than cool gadgets and electronics. Around fall 2012 (which is the time this petition was written.) WowWee brought back Robosapien (their best-seller,) and Roboraptor (their second best seller.) Fans expected the entire line to be brought back. WowWee stated these might be the only classics we would ever see.
The point of this petition is to ask WowWee to either bring back more classics (like RS Media and V2.) Or make sequels to the classics (like a Robosapien V3.)
We, the consumers, ask WowWee to continue designing robots and releasing them to the general public at a cheaper price.
