Thanks to all who signed this petition and took the time to express your support. The petition was used in the case before the Texas Public Utility Commission and helped tremendously. Thanks in large part to your support, the Commission decided not to cross this portion of the Palo Duro Canyon with power lines. The Canyon will remain beautiful and unobstructed. Thanks again to all of you.

We, the undersigned, call on the legislature of Texas to pass a law preventing Sharyland Utilities from placing a transmission line across that portion of Palo Duro Canyon lying north of the Palo Duro Canyon State Park and south and east of Lake Tanglewood in Randall County, Texas.
