Background (Preamble):
For the past few years this country has seen a dramatic increase in crimes against our children from sexual abuse to the exploitation. E.g. the brutal rape and attempted murder of little six year old... and the most recently reported rapes of our children not to mention the unreported.
Now also of late we have had numerous emails in circulation that consists of sexual encounters between children and grown men whether it be consensual or nonconsensual. The circumstances surrounding these occurrences are absolutely grotesque.

Petition:
We are asking you the Government of The Bahamas to pass a Law that will "Protect Our Children".
We are asking that without further delay that we as the guardian of these our children that God has blessed us with not allow them to be exploited and abused any longer.
We want a law that a minimum of 20yrs be given to anyone that rapes a child. That a minimum of 10yrs be given to anyone found exploiting anyone under the age of 16yrs male or female by posting illegal sexual intercourse occurrences via the Internet.
