I would like to start this petition in order to get people to clean up their property. To improve the looks of the town creates a better environment.
Wouldn't it be better to look out the window and see something nice rather than a pile of junk, or weeds as tall as the window your looking out of. This tall grass and junk gives rodents and bats and other unsafe pests places to live.
Also the falling buildings are making other people's property less valuable. Who wants to look at a falling down building?
We petition property owners in Birmingham, Iowa to clean up their properties. If they do not, then Council can hire someone to clean it up and have this amount added to property taxes.
