I’m calling out to all PROFESSIONAL SPORTS STARS to sign this petition; we need your POWER to help our VETERANS!
Professional sports are an American passion! We love and support our teams! But this petition is about righting a wrong. I believe that Professional Sports can honor our Veterans without receiving a payment from the Pentagon to do so. It should be THEIR HONOR to HONOR all those who have put their lives on the line for our country.
Arizona Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake investigated payments made by the Pentagon to professional sports teams and issued a 145 page report. Among other things they discovered that the Pentagon paid these sports organizations millions of dollars to honor America’s actual heroes who put their lives on the line for all of us, I couldn’t believe it! The Pentagon PAID PROFESSIONAL SPORTS TEAMS TO HONOR OUR VETERANS!
