Bowser Elementary has offered preschool and after school care programs since 2002. The preschool program is the most affordable one in the catchment area and the after school program is the only one of it's kind that provides working families with safe, drop-in care for their children aged K-grade 7 right on school property.
Unfortunately, with the district realignment, these much needed programs may be eliminated from our school. We need to show SD69 that these programs hold merit with both current families and those hoping to utilize the services in the upcoming years
As community members the impact of not having full services at our community’s elementary school concerns us as it may deter families from moving to the community and it may encourage the families that we do have here to move. This will affect every member of this community as well as local businesses.
Please join with us by signing this petition asking the School district to work collaboratively with the school to find the space needed which will allow preschool/after school care to continue in our school.
