On the 28-06-2015 we were once again told to remove the helmet before filling the motorcycle with fuel. This has been a reoccurring event where Bikers are being discriminated for wearing a helmet for protection.
This is our religion and asking us to remove this item is deemed as discrimination and offensive.
Example: If we were Muslim, and wore a BURKA whilst fuelling a vehicle. QUESTION? Would they insist on the removal of such a item before fuelling? This is against their religion to remove it and they find it offensive. So why are we targeted to be objects of mistrust?
We are British Citizens and we have human rights to keep our helmets in place.
IT IS OUR RELIGION.
WE THE UNDERSIGNED CALL ON ALL FUEL STATIONS TO NOT USE US AS TARGETS FOR DISCRIMINATION.
THE REMOVAL OF A HELMET IS OFFENSIVE, IT IS TELLING US THAT WE ARE THIEVES OR CATEGORISED AS SUCH.
SECONDLY IT IS OFFENSIVE FOR US TO REMOVE A HELMET, THIS IS OUR RELIGION TO KEEP IT WORN EVEN IF FUELLING AT A FUEL STATION.
WE WANT TO MAKE THIS A BILL-POLICY THAT WE HAVE HUMAN RIGHTS TO CHOOSE IF AND WHEN WE REMOVE A HELMET. THIS APPLIES TO AN OPEN FACE HELMET ESPECIALLY WHERE THE WHOLE FACE CAN BE VISIBLE.
