In September 2014 when school 1st started it became evident to many parents that our children here at Ross Elementary were being exposed to violent and very inappropriate behavior by Children from the Center.
And that these acts of violence by Students from the Center continue to happen even now (April 2015) after we were promised by the Principal of our school that our children would be safe and would not be exposed to violence and the very inappropriate behavior by some students from the center.
We will leave out names but our children have been exposed to children from the center telling our children how to perform profane sexual acts. The school being put on lock down while a child from the center ran around the school yelling and becoming violent trying to get into rooms for over an hour and half which was very disrupted to our children, and a child from the center attacked a teacher in front of our children.
We understand all children have a right to public education but our children also have the right to feel safe while they are at school.
We, the undersigned, are demanding that there be a change made now to protect our children from the violence and inappropriate behavior from other children from the Center and that our children should have rights to a safe education in a healthy teaching environment.
And as the Parents & Guardians of the Children here at Ross Elementary we demand a change now or the right to pull our children out of this school and relocate to other school.
