*Record numbers of Republican voters stayed home in the 2008 & 2012 elections when "establishment" Republicans were the selected candidates. These candidates did not inspire voters and thus gave Barack Obama 2 consecutive victories over the GOP.
*Jeb Bush supports Common Core standards, which is a federal takeover of our educational system, Amnesty for illegal immigrants, owned stock in companies that profitted from Obamacare and supports NSA spying. These positions are contrary to our beliefs and we will not support Jeb Bush in the 2016 election if he is the GOP nominee.
*We are supporters of liberty and the constitution and a party of big bold and fresh ideas. We need new voices and a fresh message and candidates who will stand on principle. We have those candidates in the party with Ben Carson, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Scott Walker and many others. We can do better than Jeb Bush in 2016!
We, the undersigned, call on Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus to hear the voices of the electorate loud and clear and reject Jeb Bush as the Republican Presidential Nominee in 2016.
Jeb Bush does not represent the views or vision of modern day voters who love liberty and stand behind the constitution. The Republican party has many better choices for candidates to run in 2016 that inspire the voters and that can defeat Hillary Clinton or any other Democratic nominee.
