This petition is being created to spread awareness of the issue that children under the age of 18 are being sentenced to life in prison.
The federal law should be changed to no longer allow this to happen.
I would like to call on fellow American citizens to spread awareness of this issue so that change can occur.
More people should know of this issue and further action should be taken to prevent it from happening further.
Children/Juveniles under the age of 18 should not be persecuted as adults in a court of law and given sentences of life in prison.
